What’s not to love about Voice for Mining Family Day? There are fun activations for everyone to enjoy, both on and off the field, plus the buzz of excitement when crowds gather to cheer on their teams in our mining colours!
We want as many miners and their families to come along to support the Knights, celebrate our industry and have a great day!
The purpose of the day is to make a big visual statement. That’s why the Knights will wear the famous hi-vis miners jersey during the game and why it is essential that our people are ‘showing their colours’ too.
We ask miners and their families to wear their hi-vis workwear, shirts, vests, Knights mining jerseys or anything else that helps bring the colour!
It’s a big part of the fun on what will be a positive day for our mining families and the community.

The Newcastle Knights NRLW team will proudly wear our iconic mining colours when they take on the St. George-Illawarra Dragons on Sunday 19 July.
The hi-vis jersey is a strong symbol of the grit, pride and community of mining families across NSW, and the growing role of women in both mining and elite sport.
We’re proud to back the Knights NRLW as they carry those values onto the field in Round 3.
