The high calibre of the finalists is a testament to the achievements of the women in our industry across a range and the growing interest in our awards program. The finalists are from mining regions right across NSW, from both mining companies and associated industries.
Women play an increasingly invaluable role in NSW mining, which has long been thought of as a male dominated industry. Women are employed in engineering, management, logistics, accounting and many other professions at mine sites right across NSW. The results of a survey about women in mining in NSW will be released at the Awards Dinner in Sydney on 6 March.

, recognise the achievements of women in NSW mining in various stages of their careers, as well as company initiatives that support or retain women working in mining.
