Industry 14 September 2016

As seen on their website – www.imarcmelbourne.com

More than 2,500 of the world’s mining leaders, policy makers, financiers, technical experts, innovators and educators from over 50 countries will descend in Melbourne from the 7th until the 10th of November for the country’s largest mining conference.   For the third time, the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) will unite the global mining industry in Australia, addressing all aspects of mining from exploration to investment, production to optimisation through to technology, health and safety, future energy, policy and governance.   This year’s event will showcase over 200 global thought leaders over the four-day event which will feature some of the most well-renowned speakers in the sector.   Ian Telfer, Chairman of Goldcorp; Zhang Jijing, Executive Director and Chairman of CITIC Pacific Mining and Frank Holmes, CEO & CIO of US Global Investors are just some of the names that will be addressing the conference in November.   IMARC Event Director Anita Richards said the conference would provide outstanding pre, during and post-event networking opportunities.   “Prior to the conference all delegates are given exclusive access to a one-on- one meeting planner enabling them to contact other delegates directly and to schedule meetings,” Ms Richards said.   “This is intended to maximise the IMARC experience and ensure delegates walk away with partnerships and contacts for the future.”   The conference mobile app will also allow delegates to connect with the hundreds of investors that will be in attendance, and seek out investment opportunities with over 20% readily looking to invest over $100m.   “Those attending can also look forward to seeing a showcase of the latest innovations, technology and services for the industry throughout the free, three-day exhibition” Ms Richards said.   To learn more about IMARC, please go to their website www.imarcmelbourne.com.au     For more details, please contact:   International Mining and Resources Conference T: +61 3 9021 2031 E: info@imarcmelbourne.com W: https://www.imarcmelbourne.com
