Hundreds of fans choosing their greatest ever World Class Knights team

Industry 30 May 2014

“

More than 500 footy fans and miners have already chosen their greatest Newcastle Knights line-up ever as the countdown continues to the announcement of the first World Class Knights.

As part of this year’s Voice for Mining Family Day celebrations, fans are going head-to-head with mates, colleagues, and a panel of experts, to select the best ever blue and red dream team (or in this case high-vis orange and blue).

Fans taking part go into the running to win a ‘money can’t buy’ Newcastle Knights experience – travelling with the NRL squad to Sydney, staying in the team hotel and watching an NRL game from the coach’s box.

There’s still time to enter the competition at worldclassminers.com.au/worldclassknights and select your team before next Wednesday 4 June.

NSW Minerals Council CEO Stephen Galilee said that the World Class Knights line-up will be revealed at Voice for Mining Family Day on 8 June.

“Voice for Mining Family Day will be a fun and positive event for the Newcastle and Hunter community, especially the 12,000 mine workers and their families who live in the region and love their footy,” Mr Galilee said.
