The Hon. Chris Hartcher resignation

The NSW Minerals Council thanks the former NSW Resources Minister, the Hon. Chris Hartcher for his valuable support of the NSW mining industry over the last two years.

His support for the $24.5 billion NSW mining industry has helped support local jobs and economic stability in regional communities, the suburbs of Western Sydney and right across NSW.

As Minister, he has championed many important policies for the people of NSW including energy security and pricing, and we hope the Government continues to pursue these important initiatives.

The NSW Minerals Council looks forward to working with the incoming Resources Minister to continue to deliver jobs, investment and economic growth for NSW.
